Polish zloty stabilises as USD/PLN slips to 3.75 amid inflation target success

On 7 July 2026 the Polish zloty showed signs of stabilisation after the National Bank of Poland hit its 2.5 % inflation target. The dollar declined to 3.7506 zł, while the euro held at 4.29 zł, the Swiss franc at 4.65 zł, the British pound at 5.02 zł and other regional currencies remained steady.

Analysts expect the euro/PLN pair to stay in a 4.28–4.30 range and warn of possible upside pressure on USD/PLN if the global dollar strengthens. Domestic bond yields are projected to ease, with the 2‑year rate near 3.95 % and the 10‑year around 5.15 %. Market sentiment is focused on upcoming central‑bank policy moves and the prospect of interest‑rate cuts in Poland.
