Eurobank Chairman visits school for World Savings Day

Eurobank Chairman George P. Zanias visited the 1st Primary School of Xylokastro to observe World Savings Day. During the visit, Zanias spoke with 137 students and the school director, Panagiotis Sofos, regarding the importance of financial planning, consistency, and distinguishing between needs and wants.

As part of the initiative, the bank provided piggy banks to the students and pledged to supply the school with technical and material equipment based on identified needs. The school was previously upgraded in 2025 through the Marietta Giannou program, a collaborative effort involving Eurobank and other systemic banks.
