EuroEyes to receive ZEISS award for global trifocal lens leadership

ZEISS has announced that it will honor the EuroEyes clinic group and its founder, Dr. Jørn S. Jørgensen, with an award on September 11, 2026. The recognition celebrates a decade-long milestone in which EuroEyes has implanted the highest number of ZEISS trifocal lenses globally for ten consecutive years.

Since 2016, EuroEyes has maintained its position as the world leader in the annual implantation of these specific lenses, which are used to treat presbyopia and cataracts. Dr. Jørgensen noted that while the achievement is a source of pride, the clinic remains focused on maintaining high medical quality and patient trust.
