Eurogate orders four automated stacking cranes from Konecranes

Eurogate Terminal Solutions has ordered four automated stacking cranes (ASCs) from Konecranes for its Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven in Germany. The order was recorded in the third quarter of 2026, with delivery scheduled for the second quarter of 2028.

The agreement includes an option for four additional cranes to be used at Eurogate’s Container Terminal Hamburg. This initiative is part of Eurogate’s broader terminal automation strategy, which utilizes a supplier-agnostic approach to integrate equipment with existing equipment control systems to enable automated container transport.

Konecranes was selected for its automation expertise and ability to meet specific technical and operational requirements. The project continues a long-standing partnership between the two companies, which has spanned over five decades in the German terminal sector.
