Eurojackpot approaches 800th draw in Slovakia

The Eurojackpot lottery is approaching its 800th draw, scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026. Since its introduction to the Slovak market on October 9, 2015, the game has distributed more than 237 million euros in total winnings to Slovak players.

To mark the jubilee, TIPOS is offering a special promotion where online players who place a bet of at least 8 euros before the draw can receive up to eight free 'Zlaté rúno' e-draws.

Historically, the highest single jackpot won in Slovakia occurred on October 16, 2020, when a winner from the Košice region received approximately 58.8 million euros. The lottery's structure has evolved over time; since March 2022, draws have occurred twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays, and the maximum jackpot ceiling was increased from 90 million to 120 million euros.
