Lotto winners claim millions in Germany and Europe
A man from North Hesse has won approximately 16.67 million euros in the Lotto 6aus49 drawing from August 19. He used random numbers without a specific strategy, describing the win as a “göttliche Fügung” (divine providence). He plans to purchase a motorhome and intends to enjoy more financial freedom during shopping. He shared the jackpot with two other winners from Lower Saxony.
In the Eurojackpot, a drawing on September 22 featured a 68 million euro jackpot. While the top prize remained unclaimed, several players won significant amounts in lower tiers. The jackpot is expected to rise to 350 million PLN in related European drawings, with players in Poland also seeing notable wins in secondary categories.
Upcoming lottery drawings for Lotto 6aus49 are scheduled for September 23, with a jackpot of approximately 5 million euros.
