Panathinaikos tops EuroLeague 2026/27 power ranking

The EuroLeague has released its first power ranking for the 2026/27 season. Greek club Panathinaikos is placed first, coached by the highly‑decorated Željko Obradović, and is seen as the favourite to win the title. Defending champions Olympiacos are ranked second, followed by Turkey’s Fenerbahçe in third place and Spain’s Real Madrid in fourth. Hapoel Tel Aviv (Israel) occupies the fifth spot, Dubai the sixth, and Anadolu Efes and Žalgiris round out the top ten. Serbian clubs are also featured: Crvena Zvezda is projected at tenth place and Partizan at thirteenth. The ranking, compiled by four EuroLeague analysts, reflects current squad strength despite the summer transfer window still being open. Separate EuroLeague transfer reports confirm ongoing player movements across clubs, but the overall outlook remains that Panathinaikos, under Obradović, is the clear early favourite for the upcoming campaign.
