Elijah Bryant named EuroLeague MVP for second consecutive week
Elijah Bryant has been named the EuroLeague MVP for the second consecutive week following Hapoel Tel Aviv’s 102-98 victory over Real Madrid. Bryant recorded 22 points, 13 rebounds—a career high—7 assists, and 9 fouls drawn, resulting in a performance index rating (PIR) of 40.
Bryant becomes the first player to win consecutive regular-season MVP awards since Sasha Vezenkov in the 2024-25 season. This marks his fifth career EuroLeague weekly MVP award, with four earned during his tenure at Hapoel and one with Anadolu Efes.
In the same match, Real Madrid’s Theo Malendon also achieved a PIR of 40, contributing 26 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds, though it was not enough to secure a win for his team. Other notable performances during the third round included high PIR ratings from players such as Markus Carr and Aliou Diarra during Virtus Bologna’s victory over Olympiacos.
