EuroLeague Greek Giants Olympiacos, Panathinaikos Assemble Record Rosters

Greek EuroLeague clubs Olympiacos, the defending champion, and Panathinaikos have built the most expensive rosters in the competition’s history ahead of the new season. Panathinaikos completed a €40 million‑plus squad, adding French forwards Lessor, Jambusele and Silvén François, as well as other signings such as Gomber and Puarie, while keeping a 16‑player roster. Olympiacos retained its core of stars, centre trio and coach, and also reinforced the line‑up with new imports. The two clubs, with 91 games scheduled, are early favourites for the EuroLeague title. In the run‑up to the season, the French players spent a joint holiday in Mykonos, training on a stone court and signing a green jersey to show their connection with Panathinaikos AKTOR.
