Turkish clubs' opponents set in 2026‑27 EuroLeague and BCL draws
The 2026‑27 season draws for European club basketball were held in Germany and Switzerland. In the women’s EuroLeague, Fenerbahçe Opet was placed in Group C with Spain’s Valencia Basket, Romania’s CS Rapid București and a qualifier winner, while Galatasaray Çağdaş Faktoring entered Group B with Italy’s Beretta Famila Schio, Belgium’s Kangoeroes Mechelen and a qualifier winner. Emlak Konut will meet Greece’s Panathinaikos AC in the qualifying round.
In the men’s Basketball Champions League (BCL), Galatasaray was drawn in Group B and Trabzonspor in Group A. Manisa Basket will face Greece’s Kolossos H Hotels, and Denizli Basket will meet Germany’s RASTA Vechta. The draw also confirmed that, should Denizli Basket be eliminated from the BCL qualifiers, it will compete in the FIBA Europe Cup Group G alongside Lions de Genève (Switzerland), Bakken Bears (Denmark), SL Benfica (Portugal) and Landau Lions (Azerbaijan), with the final spot decided by a match between Slovakia’s BC Prievidza and Croatia’s KK Samobor.
Hungarian clubs Sopron Basket and DVTK also received their qualifying opponents – Sopron against the winners of a tie between Vilnius (Lithuania) and Poznań (Poland), and DVTK against either Czech Zabiny Brno or Serbian Crvena Zvezda – underscoring the broader European draw that set the season’s fixtures.
