French lottery jackpots rise following recent EuroMillions and Loto draws
Recent lottery draws in France have resulted in significant jackpot accumulations. In the EuroMillions draw on September 15, 2026, no player matched the full combination for the 17 million euro jackpot, though seven players secured second-tier prizes. The jackpot is expected to rise to approximately 29 million euros for the next draw on September 18.
Regarding the Loto, the September 16 draw featured an 8 million euro jackpot. While seven players matched five numbers, they missed the chance number required for the top prize, instead winning 27,075 euros each. The next Loto draw is scheduled for September 18, with the jackpot projected to reach 13 million euros.
In separate news, a long-time player in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region recently won 9 million euros in a Loto draw from August 10, marking the second-largest jackpot ever won in that department.
