Euronet Polska limits BLIK cash withdrawals to 200 PLN

New restrictions and rising costs are affecting cash withdrawals in Poland. As of February 2026, Euronet Polska has implemented a limit on single BLIK code withdrawals, capping them at 200 PLN per transaction. This is a significant reduction from the previous 800 PLN limit and may require users to perform multiple transactions to withdraw larger sums.

Additionally, transaction settlement costs between financial institutions and ATM operators have increased for Visa and Mastercard users. For Mastercard, the rate has risen to 1.20 PLN plus 0.18% of the amount, while Visa rates have seen a substantial increase, with costs rising from approximately 1.30 PLN to roughly 2.90 PLN for a 1,000 PLN withdrawal. While these are settlement fees paid by banks, they may lead to higher commissions or changes in free withdrawal terms for individual customers.
