Europa-Park to renovate Piccolo Mondo attraction in 2027

Europa-Park has announced a major renovation for Piccolo Mondo, one of its oldest attractions. Originally opened in 1982 as ‘Ciao Bambini’, the ride will undergo a significant transformation to blend nostalgia with modern design.

The project is scheduled to begin during the park's winter closure on January 10, 2027. While the ride will receive new scenery, scenes, and a fresh design, the existing wagon transport system and track layout will remain unchanged.

Simultaneously, the park plans to dismantle the Euro-Mir attraction located in the Russian themed area. A new version of the Venetian gondolas is expected to be available in 2027, though a specific reopening date has not yet been confirmed.
