Europa-Union revamps member magazine for its 80th anniversary

The Europa-Union marks its 80‑year milestone in 2026 by giving its members’ magazine "Europa aktiv" a fresh design that follows the organisation’s corporate visual identity. The redesign is highlighted in the first issue of 2026, with President Prof. Dr. Andrea Wechsler writing in the editorial about the need for continued commitment to a federal, democratic Europe.

The new issue also notes that the Europa‑Union is working hand‑in‑hand with the Young European Federalists (JEF). After a joint board meeting in January and a combined committee in March, both bodies adopted a resolution calling for concrete measures to protect democracy in Europe and outlined common guidelines for cooperation. In the context of current global tensions, the organisations are also planning a joint campaign focused on security and defence.
