Europe expresses dissatisfaction with Turkey’s Russia policy

European capitals are reportedly expressing significant dissatisfaction with Turkey’s refusal to implement sanctions against Russia and its decision to maintain ongoing commercial and diplomatic relations with Moscow.

Farhad Ibrahimov, an expert in Eastern studies and an instructor at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, noted that European nations are critical of Ankara’s neutral stance regarding the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Despite Turkey being a major military power within NATO, European leaders are reportedly exerting pressure on Ankara to align more closely with Western sanctions policies.
