European agriculture conferences focus on future policy, research and sustainability

The III Encuentro de la Ciencia and the Revista Española de Estudios Agrosociales y Pesqueros was held in Valladolid, Spain, bringing together institutional, scientific and professional experts to discuss the challenges posed by the upcoming Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and emerging agricultural technologies. The event, organized by the University of Valladolid, the Revista de Estudios AgroSociales and Cajamar, concluded with the presentation of the reference study "Los sistemas de investigación e innovación agroalimentarias en el mundo" coordinated by Tomás García Azcárate.

The forum will address the future of fruit and vegetable production, the new Omnibus Package for food and feed, and the sector’s climate, economic and regulatory challenges, emphasizing the role of producer organisations and innovation for competitiveness and sustainability.
