European airports face multiple bomb threats

Police authorities in Denmark, the Czech Republic, and Portugal are investigating new bomb threats targeting air traffic. In Copenhagen, police are investigating threats against air traffic at the airport, though they noted there appeared to be no immediate danger to passengers.

In the Czech Republic, threats were reported against aircraft arriving at and departing from Prague airport. A Wizz Air flight from Prague to Rome was diverted to Venice following the incident. Authorities stated that necessary security measures were implemented with minimal impact on airport operations.

In Portugal, a Ryanair flight scheduled to travel from Lisbon to Rome was the target of a bomb threat, which was later determined to be a false alarm.

These incidents follow a week of significant disruption in European airspace, with over 20 false bomb threats reported since the beginning of the week. These threats have forced authorities to divert flights and deploy fighter jets to escort civilian aircraft.
