European capitals face criticism in Reddit discussion

A discussion on the Reddit forum r/AskReddit involving nearly 500 comments has highlighted various European capitals that users perceived as the 'worst' based on personal experiences. Common criticisms included poor infrastructure, lack of interesting activities, dirtiness, and safety concerns.

Several cities in the Balkans and Eastern Europe were frequently mentioned. Prishtina, Podgorica, and Chisinau were among the most cited. One user described Podgorica as the least interesting of 34 capitals visited, while Chisinau was compared to a setting from the video game 'Half-Life 2'.

Western European cities also faced criticism. Brussels was highlighted by many users for being dirty and unsafe. Other major cities such as Dublin, Rome, Paris, and Athens were also noted for issues regarding traffic, public transport, and general cleanliness.
