European classical Bach and Vivaldi recordings released and reviewed

A new playlist titled "Mein Sonntagskonzert Vol. 14" features live recordings of works by Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi performed by ensembles such as the Netherlands Bach Society, I Solisti Italiani, The English Concert and others. The recordings, released between 24 July and 28 July 2026, include organ, violin and harpsichord concertos and run from 7 to 12 minutes each.

In a separate review, Paschen Records issued "The Bach Project: Violin Concertos", a collection recorded by the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic with soloists Elsa Claveria, Friederike Jahn, Darius Kaunas and Frauke Tauturus. Celebrating the orchestra’s 75th anniversary, the album presents several of Bach’s violin concertos and an oboe‑violin concerto, receiving praise for the latter and mixed comments on the well‑known Double Violin Concerto.

Both releases highlight ongoing interest in Baroque repertoire across European ensembles and labels.
