European clubs target Norwegian attackers Koutsakos and Botheim

Several European football clubs are showing interest in Norwegian attackers currently playing in Sweden.

APOEL is in negotiations with a Norwegian club regarding the potential sale of young attacker Koutsakos. While an initial offer was below the club's requirements, recent discussions have significantly narrowed the gap. APOEL is considering a base price slightly above €500,000, potentially including a sell-on clause to ensure future financial benefits. The club must balance the immediate financial boost against the loss of a promising player.

Meanwhile, Swedish media reports indicate that PAOK and Trabzonspor have expressed strong interest in 26-year-old Erik Botheim. Botheim, who plays for Malmö FF and has two appearances for the Norwegian national team, is a target for PAOK as they seek to strengthen their attacking line following the departure of Alexander Grigoregeff. Botheim's contract with Malmö runs until December 2027.
