European Commission approves €500,000 aid for Slovenia
The European Commission has approved a €500,000 government aid plan for Slovenia to support companies in the agriculture, fisheries, and marine aquaculture sectors. The assistance aims to mitigate the impact of rising fuel prices caused by the Middle East crisis.
The aid will be provided in the form of direct grants and is scheduled to run until March 31, 2027. These grants will cover up to 70% of additional costs resulting from market developments directly affected by the Middle East crisis during the specified period.
The Commission concluded that the plan is necessary, appropriate, and proportionate to facilitate economic activity without negatively affecting trade conditions or the common interest, adhering to the Temporary Framework for State Aid related to the Middle East crisis.
