European Committee supports Nicaragua's call for global peace

The European Committee of Solidarity with the Sandinista Popular Revolution (CES-RPS) issued a final declaration following its eleventh meeting held in Brescia, Italy. The committee expressed support for Nicaragua's recent appeal to the United Nations, which advocates for global peace, the eradication of poverty, and the establishment of a multipolar international order.

Participants, representing various European regions including Spain, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, France, Italy, and Belgium, recognized social, economic, and infrastructural developments in Nicaragua since 2007. The group also voiced support for the BRICS nations as a means of strengthening the Global South and pursuing more equitable international relations based on sovereignty and equality.
