European cultural landmarks and Valletta draw significant tourist interest

European travel trends show a strong interest in cultural heritage and historical landmarks. According to TUI Musement, 94 percent of travelers are interested in history and culture for their next city trip.

In a ranking of Europe's most popular palaces and castles based on Google reviews, Prague Castle holds the top position with over 199,000 reviews. Buckingham Palace in London follows in second place, while Schönbrunn Palace in Austria has risen to third.

Separately, Valletta, the capital of Malta, is recognized as one of Europe's most beautiful destinations. As the EU's smallest capital, covering just 0.84 square kilometers, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1980. The city is noted for its 16th-century architecture, golden limestone buildings, and historical monuments such as St. John’s Co-Cathedral.
