International athletes secure medals in diverse sporting championships

Various international sporting achievements have been recorded across multiple disciplines. In karate, Kristina Stanojević and Jana Krnetić from the Sinđelić Karate Club in Banja Luka have qualified to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at the World Karate Championship in Bielsko-Biala, Poland.

In shooting competitions for the deaf held in Novi Sad, Serbia, several athletes achieved success. Serbian shooter Katarina Krnač won gold in the air pistol event. Croatian athlete Lucija Vrbanec secured a silver medal, while the Greek team earned a historic bronze medal in the men's air pistol team event, marking the first such medal for Greek deaf shooting at a European level.

In combat sports, Lucija Bilobrk from the Pit Bull Gym achieved European champion status in savate in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, alongside silver and bronze medals for her club members. Additionally, in climbing, Slovenian athlete Janja Garnbret secured her ninth world title at the championships in Seoul, South Korea, with teammate Rosa Rekar taking silver.
