European energy companies launch integrated fuel and charging hubs
Eni unveiled its Sustainable Mobility Station in Milan, a multi‑energy hub that combines HVO bio‑diesel with fast electric‑vehicle charging. The site is aimed at fleet operators and commuters, offering a single location where drivers can choose between a drop‑in renewable diesel and 50‑150 kW charging points while the company works on unified payment and loyalty systems.
German firm E3/DC introduced a new bidirectional DC‑Wallbox called “edsn”, highlighted by pv magazine. The compact unit enables vehicle‑to‑home power transfer, supports Volkswagen ID models and can operate with any home power‑plant system, turning idle car batteries into grid‑support assets and increasing household self‑consumption of solar energy.
