Uniper and Respect Energy Secure 219 MW of Solar PPAs in Poland

Uniper and Respect Energy have signed six‑year power purchase agreements (PPAs) for a total of 219 MWp of solar capacity across four Polish photovoltaic projects – Pakosć, Kłodawa, Domanowo and Krotoszyce. The contracts also include Guarantees of Origin, allowing buyers to verify the renewable source of each megawatt‑hour supplied. Energy delivery from the sites is slated to begin in 2028, after construction and commissioning are completed.

For Uniper, the PPAs provide revenue certainty that de‑risks the development of its planned solar portfolio in Poland and the United Kingdom, part of a broader shift toward renewables, hydrogen and low‑carbon energy carriers. Respect Energy secures a reliable supply of clean electricity for its B2B and B2C customers across Central and Eastern Europe, strengthening its position as a major clean‑energy trader in the region. The agreements support Poland’s decarbonisation goals under EU climate policy by adding utility‑scale solar generation to a coal‑heavy power mix.
