European fashion capitals see rise in Romanian travel bookings

Romanian travelers are showing increased interest in European fashion capitals, with bookings to Paris, London, and Milan rising by 16.7% compared to the same period last year. According to Kiwi.com data, passenger numbers for these destinations grew by 17.8% for the period between September 28 and October 6, coinciding with major fashion events like Paris Fashion Week.

Paris has emerged as the primary destination, accounting for 45% of Romanian travelers heading to these three cities. Passenger numbers to Paris increased by 44.0%, and the average booking fare rose by 18.6% to 227.87 euros.

In terms of seasonal fashion trends for Autumn 2026, the industry is moving toward 'quiet luxury' characterized by high-quality textures such as pure cashmere and sophisticated tailoring. Key color trends include refined shades of pink, such as rose ash, alongside classic neutrals and tweed investments.
