He also suggested establishing a structured, time-limited consultation process with continental confederations and member associations to strengthen decision-making processes. These proposals aim to clarify the roles of the President, the Bureau, the Council, and the Congress, while enhancing transparency and accountability.

The first proposals are expected to be discussed during the FIFA Council meeting scheduled for October 15. While Infantino maintains his commitment to leading FIFA through the 2027 elections, he faces significant pressure from opponents who have called for fundamental leadership changes and greater limitations on presidential power.
