European Flyers begins 12-aircraft fleet renewal with first Tecnam P2010 TDI

Spanish pilot training organization European Flyers has taken delivery of its first Tecnam P2010 TDI, marking the start of a 12-aircraft fleet renewal program. The aircraft, registered as EC-OXO, was delivered from Tecnam’s manufacturing plant in Capua, Italy.

The new fleet aims to modernize training by providing students with technology that mirrors professional airline cockpits, including the Garmin G1000 NXi glass cockpit and integrated autopilot. The P2010 TDI is powered by a Continental CD-170 engine that utilizes JET A1 fuel, supporting the academy’s decarbonization strategy through reduced fuel consumption and lower carbon emissions.

The agreement with Tecnam also includes specialized technical training for European Flyers’ maintenance teams to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the remaining 11 aircraft, which will be integrated into the fleet progressively.
