European food safety agencies recall snack and ham products over contamination risks

Food safety authorities in the United Kingdom and Ireland have issued urgent recalls of multiple food items after identifying serious safety concerns. In the UK, Morrisons withdrew its Maple & Bacon Back of the Net snack due to undeclared milk, while Ferrero pulled specific batches of Frozen Nutella Croissants across several EU countries because of possible metal fragments. Icesupp also recalled its Mango & Passionfruit and Mixed Berries drinks over a packaging fault that could cause microbiological contamination.

In Ireland, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) recalled five ham products from the Brady Family brand, Tesco Finest and Lidl’s Deluxe range after detecting Listeria monocytogenes. The products carry a use‑by date of 16 July and consumers are advised not to eat them and to return them for a refund.

Consumers in the UK, Ireland and EU states including Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Hungary and Romania have been urged to check packaging, avoid consumption and seek refunds where applicable.
