European travelers are increasingly motivated by culture and heritage, with 94% of respondents expressing interest in historical experiences during urban getaways. According to data from TUI Musement, which analyzed Google reviews, several European landmarks have secured high rankings in popularity.

In Portugal, the Pena Palace in Sintra rose to 13th place, while Saint George's Castle in Lisbon holds the 14th position. Other notable mentions in the European rankings include Buda Castle in Budapest, which saw a 65% increase in reviews.

For autumn travel, destinations such as Transylvania, Romania, offer seasonal landscape appeal through the Carpathian forests, while Malta remains a viable option for those seeking warmer Mediterranean temperatures. Travelers are looking toward historical sites, exhibitions, and seasonal events as primary drivers for trips in October and November.
