Polish museums and heritage sites roll out summer activities for children and families

The Museum of the Earth in Tarnów launches a series of themed workshops for children and teenagers in July and August, including military‑style fitness tasks, encounters with a mascot bear, a game about Poland, a walk through PRL life and a creative station where participants make their own mascot.

The Museum of Wincenty Witos in Wierzchosławice offers a free calligraphy workshop for organized groups, teaching decorative lettering with goose‑feather pens and allowing participants to create a personal summer diary.

A free bat‑focused nature walk is scheduled for 23 July at Zamczysko on Ściszków Groniu in the Beskid Mały Landscape Park, organized by the Silesian Landscape Parks Centre and pro Natura association.

The Potocki Palace in Radzyń Podlaski opens interactive guided tours and free VR sessions from 1 July, allowing visitors to explore reconstructed interiors and learn about the Potocki family’s history.
