European hunting organizations meet in Almagro, Spain

Major hunting organizations from Spain, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, and France are meeting in Almagro, Spain, for the Big Five FACE summit. The event is hosted at the Palacio de los Condes de Valdeparaíso, the headquarters of the International Center for Hunting Gastronomy (Venari).

Organized by the Royal Spanish Hunting Federation (RFEC) in collaboration with ASICCAZA, Venari, and the Diputación de Ciudad Real, the meeting falls under the umbrella of the Federation for Hunting and Conservation of Europe (FACE). FACE represents approximately seven million hunters across 37 countries.

Miguel Ángel Valverde, President of the Diputación de Ciudad Real, emphasized that hunting serves as a vital tool for environmental conservation and a driver of economic and social opportunities within the territory. He noted the importance of understanding local realities to effectively manage and legislate the activity.
