Italy hosts CES Unveiled Milan to promote AI and industrial innovation

The CES Unveiled Milan event has debuted at Allianz MiCo, serving as the European leg of the ‘Road to CES’ initiative. Organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) in collaboration with Agenzia ICE and Fiera Milano, the event aims to accelerate digitalization and competitiveness for Italian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through global technological trends and artificial intelligence.

The manifestation features approximately 70 startups and companies showcasing solutions in robotics, health tech, agritech, quantum computing, and aerospace. Alongside the main event, the ‘Prototipi di Futuro’ exhibition at Fiera di Milano explores the history of innovation, connecting past industrial machines to the current AI transformation.

In related regional developments, Lombardy President Attilio Fontana highlighted the region's status as Europe's leading manufacturing hub during the World Manufacturing Forum 2026. He emphasized the importance of integrating AI into the manufacturing sector to maintain international competitiveness. Meanwhile, a SAS and IDC study revealed that Italy faces a significant ‘Trust Gap,’ with a high level of perceived trust in AI but a lower capacity for practical governance and reliability compared to other European nations.
