European intelligence services see shift as Ukraine's SBU rises in rankings

European intelligence services are undergoing a shift in influence due to evolving geopolitical tensions. According to a ranking by L’Express, the United Kingdom’s MI6 holds the top position, followed by France and the Netherlands. Notably, Ukraine’s security service, the SBU, has risen to fourth place, reflecting its increased efficiency and importance in the face of Russian threats.

In addition to rising rankings, intelligence sharing remains a critical component of the conflict. The United States is currently providing Ukraine with intelligence, including coordinates for strikes against Russian military positions and energy infrastructure. This information exchange is viewed by some officials as a way to provide Kyiv with a tactical advantage during a critical period of the war.
