European International Book Art Biennial to debut in Baja California

The European International Book Art Biennial (EIBAB) 2026 will arrive in Latin America for the first time, hosted as part of the fourth edition of the Sinergia International Art Fair organized by CETYS Universidad.

Scheduled from October 5 to 10, the event will take place across the Mexicali, Tijuana, and Ensenada campuses in Baja California, Mexico. The biennial serves as an international platform for artistic exchange centered on the book as both an object and a medium of expression.

The 2026 edition will feature artists from various nations, including Italy, Iraq, Nepal, Germany, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, the United States, Albania, Tunisia, and Mexico. The event is led by founder and curator Dorothea Fleiss from Germany, alongside co-curator Alejandra Phelts from Mexico. This collaboration is facilitated through a partnership between Sinergia and East-West Artists, a professional artists' association based in Dresden, Germany.
