European Le Mans Series concludes at Portimão

The 2026 European Le Mans Series concluded at Portimão, featuring diverse results for prominent LMGT3 teams. Team Qatar by Iron Lynx secured third place in the final standings despite a challenging finale. After Abdulla Al-Khelaifi secured pole position and led early, a pit-speeding penalty following a mistake dropped the #62 Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 to eighth place. The team's #63 crew also faced difficulties when Ameerh Naran was forced to retire due to contact with an LMP2 car.

In the same class, Lilou Wadoux led the Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 to a seventh-place finish.
