Genoa International Boat Show prepares for 66th edition

The 66th Genoa International Boat Show is set to take place from October 1 to 6, 2026, featuring over 1,000 vessels and 215 new models from 45 countries. The event highlights a growing trend toward larger vessels and multihulls, with a 28% increase in multihulls exhibited.

Economic data presented by Confindustria Nautica reveals that the Italian leisure boating industry reached a record turnover of 8.72 billion euros in 2025, a 1.4% increase from the previous year. While the high-end segment and exports show strong performance, the small boating sector continues to face challenges due to global economic uncertainties affecting the middle class.

Key exhibitors include Apreamare, showcasing the new Gozzo 42, and Maiora, presenting the 36-meter Exuma yacht. AB Inflatables and Spartivento will also participate, offering various tenders and luxury brands like Lagoon and Jeanneau. The event will also feature the 'QN Distretti Nautica' forum to discuss innovation in electric propulsion and AI-driven design, alongside cultural events such as a techno music set by Novah at the Porto Antico.
