Youth educational initiatives held in Alcalá de Henares and Mollina

In Alcalá de Henares, Spain, educators from various autonomous communities gathered on September 24 and 25 for a national meeting of the European Parliament Ambassador Schools (EPAS) network. The event focused on developing new pedagogical tools to bring European Union institutions closer to students through practical workshops, parliamentary debate simulations, and communication techniques. The agenda included discussions with MEPs such as Javier Zarzalejos, Rosa Serrano, Elena Sancho, and César Luena to help students understand how EU regulations impact their daily lives.

Separately, in Mollina, Málaga, the youth meeting ‘Realidades Íntimas’ took place from September 25 to 27 at the CEULAJ facilities. Organized by the Asociación Juvenil Remonta, the event provided a safe space for young people to discuss sexual education, consent, menstrual health, and the impact of pornography. Using non-formal education methodologies, the program included workshops designed to debunk myths regarding romantic love and promote healthy, inclusive relationships.
