European Queens engage in public appearances and anniversaries

Queen Mathilde of Belgium recently welcomed five children to the Royal Palace in Brussels as part of the STIP IT anti-bullying campaign. The children, who are featured in the upcoming Ketnet program ‘STIP IT: Kintsugi’, shared their personal experiences with bullying and the process of rebuilding confidence. During the meeting, the children used the campaign’s symbol—four dots placed on the hand—to represent their commitments against bullying.

In the Netherlands, Queen Máxima visited the retailer HEMA to commemorate the company’s 100th anniversary. The Queen toured design studios and a flagship location in Amsterdam, engaging with employees and observing the development of the retailer’s everyday products. HEMA, which opened in 1926, currently operates approximately 750 stores across nine countries.
