European Rally Championship season finale held in Portugal
The 2026 FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) concludes with the Rally 6 Cities North of Portugal, taking place from October 23–25 on gravel tracks. While Teemu Suninen has already secured the championship title, the final round features a significant battle for second place in the standings between Andrea Mabellini/Virginia Lenzi and Miko Marczyk/Szymon Gospodarczyk, who are separated by only six points.
Polish crews are prominently featured in the event. Former European champion Miko Marczyk and Szymon Gospodarczyk will compete in a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, while Jakub Matulka and Damian Sytego also aim for a top-five finish in the general classification.
Nikolay Gryazin returns to the ERC for his 34th appearance in the series, following a season in WRC2. Driving a Lancia Ypsilon HF Rally2, Gryazin intends to use the event to test car settings and Hankook tires ahead of the next season. Other notable competitors include Kris Meeke, Mārtiņš Sesks, and Roope Korhonen.
