Germany wins 13th dressage team title at Aachen World Championships

The FEI World Equestrian Championships in Aachen are underway, featuring significant results across multiple disciplines. The German dressage team secured its 13th world championship team title, led by riders including Isabell Werth, Frederic Wandres, Katharina Hemmer, and Raphael Netz. The victory was noted by Bavarian Minister-President Markus Söder, who shared personal congratulations to Netz, the partner of his daughter.

In vaulting, the German team NORKA Automation from VV Köln-Dünnwald established a strong lead in the compulsory phase, placing first with 8.075 points, ahead of Austria and France. Individual success was also noted for Bela Lehnen, who took third place in the men’s individual compulsory round.

Eventing competitions have commenced with the horse inspection completed for 88 horses from 27 nations. Germany is aiming to defend its title, with riders such as Michael Jung and Laura Collett among the key competitors. In dressage, individual competition remains highly anticipated, with favorites including Isabell Werth, Charlotte Fry, and Justin Verboomen. Princess Amalia has also made a notable appearance at the event.
