European Sleeper launches new night train between Cologne and Milan

The rail operator European Sleeper has launched a new night train service connecting Cologne, Germany, to Milan, Italy. The route includes stops in Aachen and Aarau, Switzerland, as part of a broader connection between Brussels and Milan.

Currently, trains depart from Brussels toward Italy on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, arriving in Cologne after 10:00 PM. Return trips from Milan occur on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, reaching Cologne around 8:00 AM the following morning.

Following a schedule change in mid-December, the route will be adjusted to include stops in Antwerp, Breda, and Eindhoven instead of Aachen. Passengers can choose between three travel classes: seating, compact bunks, or mattresses. Prices for the connection start at approximately 40 euros per person. This marks the third European route operated by European Sleeper, joining their existing services between Paris and Berlin, and Brussels and Prague.
