European youth programs focus on empowerment and participation

European initiatives are focusing on youth empowerment and participation through various programs and collaborative projects.

In Prato, Italy, the Italian Agency for Youth and Eurodesk Italy, in cooperation with the Eurodesk Center of the Municipality of Prato, will host a design workshop on June 18, 2026. The event aims to provide practical tools for designing and implementing initiatives through the Erasmus+ Youth and Sport program and the European Solidarity Corps. The workshop will cover youth exchanges and solidarity projects, offering participants digital certification.

Additionally, the Viva Vita Youth project is conducting a 13-month international collaboration involving Latvia, Italy, and Bulgaria. Targeting individuals aged 14 to 30, the initiative addresses socioeconomic barriers to healthcare, nutrition, and mental health. The project promotes physical activity, mindfulness, and digital literacy to help marginalized groups meet modern labor market demands. The initiative will culminate in the creation of a transnational guidebook covering addiction, well-being, physical activity, and health.
