Eurospin and A. m. m. 53 recall 60 meat batches over Listeria risk

The Health Ministry has issued a recall for approximately 60 batches of meat products due to the potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The affected items include Vitello tonnato, baked turkey, turkey roast with mushrooms, and pork loin.

The recalled products are sold under the brands Eurospin and A. m. m. 53. They were manufactured at the A. m. m. 53 facility located in Spresiano, in the province of Treviso.

Authorities advise consumers not to eat the products. Instead, they should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase. Listeria infection can cause flu-like symptoms in healthy individuals but poses a significant risk of severe illness, including meningitis or sepsis, to pregnant women, young children, and those with weakened immune systems.
