A consumer test conducted by Altroconsumo has identified the best shampoos based on performance, price, and environmental impact. The top performer, named ‘Best of Test’ and ‘Best Buy’, is the Near Your Hair Rice and Oat Cream shampoo sold by the discount retailer Eurospin.

Professional hairdressers and consumers praised the Eurospin product for its cleaning ability, ease of rinsing, spreadability, and foam quality. Despite its low cost of just over one euro, it achieved high marks for both quality and value.

Other notable products that performed well in the testing include Gliss Aqua Revive and Garnier Fructis Aloe Vera Hair Food Shampoo, each offering different strengths in the comparison.
