EuroTier 2026 to showcase AI and digital innovations in livestock farming
The EuroTier 2026 international livestock exhibition, scheduled for November 10 to 13 in Hannover, Germany, will focus on the theme of “Intelligence in Animal Farming.” According to the German Agricultural Society (DLG), the event will highlight how artificial intelligence, smart sensors, and integrated digital systems are transforming farm management.
Key technological trends include the use of AI to convert real-time data from sensors and cameras into actionable management decisions. These tools aim to monitor animal health, movement, heart rate, and temperature, allowing for the early detection of diseases and improved reproductive selection. Such innovations are intended to reduce labor, optimize nutrition, and enhance economic efficiency across cattle, swine, and poultry operations.
In addition to digital monitoring, the exhibition will address sustainability through precision nutrition. Topics include reducing emissions via specialized feeding, utilizing alternative protein sources, and improving forage quality to support ruminant production.
