Eurovision 2027 events confirmed for Greece and Latvia

The Greek public broadcaster ERT announced that Greece will take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2027, which will be staged in Bulgaria next May. Acting director of corporate communications Konstantinos Tsolakis confirmed that the national selection will again be held through the "Sing for Greece" programme.

Separately, the European Broadcasting Union said the 2027 Eurovision Young Musicians competition will be hosted in Liepāja, Latvia, and described it as a one‑off edition rather than the start of a regular annual series. Senior Project Manager Amélie Rossignol‑Farjon stated, “the 2027 Eurovision Young Musicians should be considered a one‑off event, rather than the start of a confirmed annual cycle.” No semifinals are planned and participation levels are expected to remain similar.
