Eurydice Valavani details Greek‑American name of son Iason Panagiotis

Greek journalist and TV presenter Eurydice Valavani used TikTok for a Q&A session to explain the naming of her newborn son with husband Grigoris Morgan. She said the couple wanted a name that was Greek yet fit the American surname Morgan, choosing Iason (the Greek form of Jason) and adding Panagiotis to honor her parents, Panagiotis and Panagiota.

Valavani also described the original plan to baptise the baby in the sea, which was changed after practical difficulties. The ceremony was moved to a church beside the sea, keeping a summer theme with lemons and a nautical atmosphere.
