Eurydike and Giorgos Theofanous reunite on stage in Athens
Singers Eurydike and composer Giorgos Theofanous performed together at the Medousa venue in Athens, marking their first stage appearance together 24 years after their divorce. During the performance, which launched Theofanous’s musical series at the historic venue, Theofanous accompanied Eurydike on the piano.
The two artists, who were married for seven years and share a son, Angelos, discussed their relationship in a recent media appearance. Eurydike noted that while their personal lives changed, they maintained a deep mutual respect, describing Theofanous as a highly talented individual she has always admired. She also clarified that their professional separation occurred prior to their personal divorce as they sought to explore individual career paths.
Additionally, Eurydike commented on the recent dispute between artists Anna Vissi and Nikos Karvelas, stating that the situation was unexpected and noting that creators maintain the right to decide who performs their songs.
